The exam consists of two parts: a practical blind tasting of two wines and a theoretical exam made up of 50 multiple-choice questions and four short-answer questions.
To pass the exam, the student must obtain a minimum score of 55 % in both the practical blind tasting exam and the theory exam.
Successful students receive a certificate issued by the WSET.
Requires 51.5 hours of prior study.

Teaching and learning resources
The training room is equipped with a computer, projector, internet and suitable furniture. For the practical component of the course, each trainee is provided with: tasting glasses, spittoons, a bottle and a glass of water.
