It's the ideal course for understanding major styles and regions, anticipating trends and becoming more confident to talk about wine with authority in any setting.

What will you learn?

This course focuses on world wines and is essential for understanding the main origins, styles and regions beyond Iberia, their global impact and major international trends. Discover relevant (and surprising!) countries and regions in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Oceania, their differentiating factors and their importance in the sector. Over 40 wines are tasted and analysed during the course.

Do I need prior knowledge?

Yes. This training requires prior knowledge of the basics of wine production, obtained in SWA 2 Course: Portugal and Spain or WSET Level 2 Qualification in Wines.

SWA 3 Course | Wines of the World is an excellent basis for those seeking a WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 3 wine certification.
